Our Company was incorporated as ―Diggi Securities Private Limited under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 on December 1, 2010, bearing Corporate Identity Number U65900MH2010PTC210471, issued by Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai. Subsequently, the name of our Company was changed from ―Diggi Securities Private Limited to ―Diggi Multitrade Limited vide fresh Certificate of Incorporation pursuant to change of name dated June 5, 2014. Further, our Company was converted from a private limited company to a public limited company vide fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent upon conversion to the public limited company dated June 18, 2014, issued by Deputy Registrar of Companies, Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai with the Corporate Identity Number U65900MH2010PLC210471.
Initially, our Company was involved in the business of carrying on trading activities by dealing in the stock market in all kinds of securities and other financial products. We began investing and trading in equity shares (quoted and non-quoted), derivatives and other financial products. Unlike booking companies, we did not carry out trading and investment activity or offer financial services and products to or on behalf of other investors or clients and hence did not require a license or registration with SEBI or any other concerned regulatory authorities or regulations governing the business of operating a broking outfit.
In the year 2013-2014, the management of our Company decided to discontinue the business of trading in shares and securities and forayed in the business of trading in fabrics, real estate and allied activities and construction material and consequently the main objects of our Company was altered to reflect the said line of business.
Our Company‘s business activities may be classified as follows:
- Trading in real estate by way of acquiring interests in various real estate projects such as flats and land;
- Dealing in construction material.
